Measurement of the cross-section profile in tunnels

Cross-section profiles of tunnels are regularly measured. The rugged LMS511 2D LiDAR sensor is mounted on an inspection vehicle and provides precise measurement data that is merged to form a 3D image of the tunnels. Multiple LMS511 sensors mounted to a vehicle can be synchronized and the speed of the inspection vehicle can be multiplied.
